Podcast: Episode 98 – Thomas Was Alone, Driver: San Francisco and Holy Motors

First up, the bad news: Kev wasn’t able to join us this week. Now, the good news: we’ve got a vintage three-man podcast that’s back on track after last week’s little insurrection. It’s just like the old days.

We talked a bit about some of the news, including Microsoft’s invitations to their next gen Xbox reveal and the Battlefield 4 leaks. After that, we jumped right in with what we’ve been doing this week.

I talked about Thomas Was Alone and I promise I’ll stop now. Kris has been playing Driver: San Francisco and inFamous 2 and Lewis watched a couple of films, including one called Holy Motors that sounds utterly bizarre.

We did our usual quiz, this week a general knowledge one I nabbed off the internet, and they we plummeted the depths of our listener questions and I had a little mini rant again. Sorry about that.

  • Please send us questions via email to podcasts[at]thesixthaxis.com.
  • You can also tag your questions on Twitter with #tsacast and, provided you’re not on a private account, we’ll see them in our search each week. Finally, as usual, there’s a questions thread in the forum.

This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

  • As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
  • You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
  • Or we’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.

  1. Ah man, I missed the TWA chat! I just finished that last night too. I think I might talk about it on next week’s podcast.

    • you can talk about it again, fo’ sho’

  2. Yeah i seen that film Holy Motors, its one of the craziest films i have ever seen. The acting from Denis Levant is stunning. If ye like your films out there, then you can’t get any further than this one.
