A couple of big PlayStation 3 games mark today’s PSN Store Update as one to keep an eye on.
Ubisoft’s latest entry into the Call of Juarez series, Gunslinger (preview), is a good way better than the terrible Cartel, and by most accounts Metro: Last Light is a stunning first person shooter.
Gunslinger’s twelve quid, although it’s under a tenner if you’re a Plus subscriber. Same goes with Last Light: £48 for non Plussers, and just over £38 if you pay the monthly fee.
Pool Nation has also landed on PS3 – we’ve got a review ready to roll for that – £2.99 with Plus, £4.99 without. Men’s Room Mayhem (7/10) is definitely worth grabbing for a quid, too.
There’s the Call of Duty Uprising DLC for £11.59 and the Ranger Mode for Last Light for £3.99, too, but more is expected later as usual.

Anybody know how much space Ratchet and Clank on the Vita will take up?

Unfortunately it doesn’t say hoplessly but it’s out there in the store anyhow. The compatibility notes say 4gb minimum but I think that’s a mistake, maybe because of cross buy.

Might be 2GB, a lot of games have their minimum space spec doubled because the PS3 needs space both for the install file and the game before it deletes the install file.
And then they might have just copied over that info for the Vita game. Mind you, even 2GB seems excessive.

Ouch…….that’s massive. I WAS tempted but bollocks at that size. Is there a physical version out as well as digital.

There’s a 300MB patch coming as well after the game itself downloads.
Hopefully it’ll optimise the code, maybe even make the game smaller?

It’s now larger than Mortal Kombat.
Ludicrous. 3091 MB.
FIFA 13 is a smaller download, as is PSASBR. Only Uncharted and the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (BOTH MGS games together) are larger.
And it needs more patches- the framerate is choppy (no idea what it is, I could never tell the fps by just looking at a screen, it’s bad though), the resolution poor… lots of jaggies.
So yeah, this has not been ported well.
The game itself is fun, but it’s not performing well.

street fighter 2 is a classic but dated. Arcade edition is the last version of 4 release (i think) it has all the characters from all the previous editions plus extra i think.
