A couple of days ago it was reported that Twitch was removing PS4 streams that weren’t broadcasting gaming related content, after a few people decided to stream content using The Playroom game for other activities. It wasn’t a surprising move because such streaming violated the Twitch’s terms of service.
Now Twitch has decided to enforce a blanket ban on any streams using The Playroom due to the number of streams that keep violating the terms. In statement to Polygon Twitch said:
“We removed Playroom content from the directory because a majority of it was non-gaming related. We will look into adding it back as PS4 owners become more familiar with the games-only focus of Twitch content.”
So if you were thinking of doing something similar to The Spartan Show using Playroom you may have to wait.

The feature isn’t removed, you can still steam gaming on twitch, just not for the title playroom.

Ah but it removes a feature built into the PS4 (as Playroom is).
Forgot you can still stream outside Playroom. Not something I will personally use from my PS4 bit may watch others.
