Speaking to CGSociety, God Of War’s Art Director Ken Feldman talks openly about the game’s development. It’s a great read from start to finish, but of particular interest is the section at the end regarding anything that the developers couldn’t get into the game. “I tried unsuccessfully to convince Stig to make ‘God of War III’ a first-person shooter,” he says. “Kratos could have some truly badass huge weapons that rip gods to shreds. Unfortunately he didn’t see the genius in the idea.”
