Wet and Naughty Bear Sequels Announced

Announcing a return to their old name, Behaviour Interactive, the studio formerly known as Artificial Mind & Movement (A2M) have also taken the opportunity to confirm follow-ups to both last year’s Wet and the recently released Naughty Bear. Other titles including Doritos Crash Course (XBLA), Rango (multi-platform), a casual MMO scheduled for early next year and a Facebook game releasing this month were also announced. Behaviour’s CEO, Rémi Racine, states:

“We are and will always strive to be the best and most trusted independent game development studio in the industry. The change in name is not only a return to our previous name but also an indicator of the evolution of the company. We have developed a strong reputation as a high-quality work-for-hire studio as well as a creator of our own original content and will continue to pursue both sides of the business. The new name reflects the renaissance of the company.”

Other unannounced Xbox 360 and PS3 games are also said to be in development.

  1. Glad to hear about another Wet (as the last one was a kind of guilty pleasure for me), but not so sure about Naughty Bear though…

  2. naughty bear was laughable.

  3. Why would they want to create a Naughty Bear sequel..?

    • what would be the point, you can’t really change anything about it

      • I disagree. It was a decent idea (very) badly executed. IF they can fix all the problems it could be alright

  4. Wet yeah, but Naughty Bear ……….. do they have money to waste?

  5. WET I can live with, but Naughty bear?!! Did someone add something into the joints they were smoking?

  6. “We have developed a strong reputation as a high-quality work”

    Say wha?
Naughty Bear should’nt exist.. and Wet should’ve been a better game.

    • They said a similar thing last time when announcing Naughty Bear for the iPhone, “In the last six months Naughty Bear has captured the imagination of a very wide fanbase and very quickly become an icon within the gaming world and a beacon for the disenfranchised and the disgruntled everywhere”.

      Methinks they are slightly disillusioned.

      • That sounds ridiculous. To imply that Naughty Bear (of all things) has a “very wide fanbase” or is an “icon in gaming” is just plain dumb; it didn’t sell well, and the people who did play it weren’t exactly complimentary.

  7. Loved Wet, it was like playing the best B movie ever made

  8. The concept of Naughty bear was great, the execution was terrible.

  9. WET definetely had potential so I am glad to hear of a sequel; the platforming, story, characters, voice acting and graphics are going to need some attention though.

  10. Im definitely with the general consensus here, Wet was decent but not outstanding so a sequel could be justified
Naughty Bear was atrocious after the first half hour of playing. A sequel will dive quicker than Tom Daly
