The PSP is home to some great games, with one being ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. This PSP only game is packed with content, providing hours of entertainment for a measly £13.99.
So imagine our surprise this morning when we logged on to the PSN to find a rogue game sitting directly beneath Vice City Stories – the original PS2 game ‘Grand Theft Auto: Vice City’. Â We’ve tried downloading it on a PSP 3000 to no avail; however it will happily work on a PSPgo.
It’s obvious this game listing isn’t meant to be active, as the thumbnail JPEG is broken and the file name looks a bit off, not to mention it’s free! Plus when the game boots it boots as ‘stories’.
Is the PSN having an off day? Â Or is this an early glimpse of something else in the works?

Just had a look, it might just be me not noticing it until now, but you can now go to a game listing and download directly from there, instead of having to search the download list. Not that it worked when I tried it (I got some error). Plus most picture links seem to be broken, for whatever reason.

In fact I can’t seem to download anything from the Store, I just get some install error, strange as it doesn’t even download it first.

Anyone know if it’s a brand new thing (that you can download directly from the game page), or has it been possible for a while?

Having alot of troubles with this version of it.
Firstly everything takes a lot longer to load up. Sceen pop-ins etc. Anybody else having similar problems?

The ‘Vice City Stories’ from the 10 free games psp go offer can’t be downloaded anymore, it doesn’t appear on the list anymore. Probably linked to that ?ps2? game only downloadable on a go.

Vice City Stories was removed from the 10 free games and replaced with Beaterator. Pretty crap swap IMHO.

They probably forgot to remove it afterwards. Few lucky people managed to download it for free thanks to this article ;)

Only 9 games appear in the download list from the offer accessed by re-entering the redeem code.

It’s probably the game file for 10 free games offer for PSP Go. Obviously shouldn’t be available via search, and hence why it was pulled off so quickly.
