As expected, Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 at their 1st Production Department Premier event in Tokyo today. The conference is still ongoing so we don’t have much information at the moment.
What we do know is that Motomu Toriyama will direct again, it’s due for both the PS3 and 360 for a simultaneous release in 2011 (at least in Japan) and the trailer shown at the event had Lightning in armor, fighting with a purple haired man.

Not liking the anti XIII comments. So it wasnt a typical FF. Thats doesnt make it a bad game. It was a good game. It was worth every penny of my £35.
