Earlier today, our burger munching chums in the U.S of A. received the news that Killzone 3 would arrive with an added extra – access to the SOCOM 4 beta.
The European PlayStation blog has just tweeted that fans of clogs, roast beef, frogs legs, bull fighting, leprechauns, beer and any other racial stereotypes you can think of, will be able to access the SOCOM 4 beta if they sacrifice a goat to the goddess Kylie Minogue and self flagellate three times a day for the next twelve weeks.*
Alternatively you could just sign up for PlayStation Plus, sit back and wait as all PS+ subscribers will automatically receive access to the SOCOM 4 beta when it launches later in the year.

I really enojoyed SOCOM the original and loved the squad play with the AI. I haven’t played any next-gen versions though and it’d be good to have a look at how it works with people.

All I can say is that I hope Zipper actually make use of the Beta. I played the MAG one, left plenty of feedback of the multiple bugs it had a by the sounds of it, they didn’t fix them at all.
Still not enough to get me to sub to PS+ though.
