Today saw the announcement of the six remaining characters who will feature in KOEI’s Dynasty Warriors 7 which launches next month. By process of elimination and thanks to previous hints, it was fairly easy to guess these stragglers would be Wei Yan, Pang Tong, Xu Huang, Diao Chan, Gan Ning and the mighty Huang Gai, who all look exceptional in their new DW7 attires.

The only two who didn’t make the cut this time around were Pang De (one of my personal favourites) and Zuo Ci, though the wealth of new character more than make up for the losses.

Let’s just hope that this time round characters don’t have the same move sets. I remember in the last one they took the easy way out, and some characters had 3 or 4 other characters with exactly the same move set just a different weapon. This was really disappointing.
