It seems there’s been a bit of a Valve-up with the reported development of an Xbox LIVE Silent Hill multiplayer title. Speaking on a forum, Silent Hill Downpour producer Devin Shatskyhad the following to say:
“Whoever that Italian interviewer was either took Radek’s comments completely out of context, or it was lost in translation.
As previously mentioned, we were (many moons ago) investigating a separate Multiplayer mode, but that was quickly extinguished when we costed it out and determined how much resource time it would detract from the core singleplayer experience.”
It turns out Radek Marek was actually quoting the recipe for a lovely tomato flatbread, with a chilli dipping sauce.*
