Deep Silver Announce ‘Winter Stars’

Deep Silver has announced Winter Stars, a multi-player winter sports game to be released in the fourth quarter of 2011 on Kinect for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support and Wii with Balance board support.

The game features eleven events: Paraskiing, curling, snowmobile, bobsled, downhill skiing, figure skating, biathlon, freeride skiing, snowboard cross, ski flying, and short-track.

Multiplayer will feature both local and online modes and the title also features a single player campaign. The story-driven single player mode has an ‘extensive career system’ and ‘character development’.

  2. It’ll be interesting to see how it works across all three motion techs.

  3. I’m always skeptical of these multi sport games, it always seems like they’re all okay, but none are really very polished or good by themselves. I’d rather just go for the new SSX – even if it is arcade style, just looks more fun.

  4. I bet the Wii version will be the best followed closely by Kinect, and then I bet the Move version will be pretty disappointing. I just cant see those sports being good with just 1 Move + Navi controller.
