FIFA 12 Available to EU Xbox 360 EA Pass Subscribers Tomorrow

FIFA 12’s official release date is next Friday, September 30th.  However, if you have an Xbox 360 and are a European EA Season Ticket Holder you will get early access to the next installation in the FIFA franchise tomorrow.

“Season Ticket holders will be able to download FIFA 12 from 23th September at 6pm ET in North America on PS3 and Xbox 360, and in Europe on Xbox 360 from 6pm CET on 24 September.”

Yes, both North American Xbox 360 & PS3 owners also get this deal. Now, I don’t know why European PS3 owners miss out.

Once downloaded, EA Season Pass holders will have access to the first Football Club challenge where you control Chelsea while 3-1 down against Manchester United. The goal is to get at least a draw in the match. This Challenge will be exclusive to EA Season Pass holders.

However if you don’t have a Season Pass or you own a PS3 in Europe, the release date is still 30th September 2011.

  1. How disappointing, I have a PS3, why do we see to miss out all the time? :(

  2. It’s because EA and SCEE has not come to an agreement about the season pass. I have no idea why.

  3. Good then they can test it for us so when it launch here in europe for us ps3 gamers we will have a day one patch :D

  4. SCEE are a complete nightmare, can never get anything done quick.

  5. Wow, that is an extremely exciting exclusive.

  6. Very sad that SCEE couldn’t sort this, even if it meant a limited launch in some counties of they couldn’t manage all of them. As usual it’s the end user that misses out thanks to Sony’s hurdles. AFAIK publishers don’t have as much trouble when dealing with MS

    • Ah??? If it’s Sony fault, why is it available on the PS3 in the US? Don’t they have to go through Sony too?

  7. First step in the challenge is substitute Fernando Torres, unless you think you can exploit the 5 mins where the United defence was caught up in paralysing laughter.

  8. You know that you pay 2000 ms points for the “honour” of downloading it early ? right ?
thats about £18 in real money !
making the game about £50 taking into account the “discount” you get for buying the season ticket.
Hardly the bargain 0of the year is it ?
will happily wait till friday and pick it up for £25-£30 from one of the supermarkets.
will give this a miss and get it
