Coconut Dodge – 99p, works on PS Vita
Futurlab’s first minis games, and one that is referenced in Velocity (at least, that’s what I gathered) once or twice. Take the role of the crab, grab crystals and dodge coconuts – sounds simple (and it is) but it’s a great title and really cheap too.
Cubixx – £2.39, works on PS Vita
Laughing Jackal’s tribute to Qix takes the age-old mechanic (gradually cutting away at a block) but throwing it into 3D and using all six sides of a cube rather than just a flat edge. Lots of enemy variety and some pulsing music and graphics round off a solid game.
Nom Nation – £1.74, works on PS Vita
This is effectively an educational guide for kids, but it doesn’t feel forced and the cute retro graphics and well produced platforming make for a great game regardless. Sure, it tries to pass on some healthy eating advice, but that’s hardly a bad thing.

I actually have all of these titles and can fully agree, these are some worthwhile titles on any platform. give em a try

I have Fieldrunners and Age of Zombies which are good fun.
The issue for some might be that £3+ is a little expensive, when you can buy MotorStorm RC for a similar price, or pay another £3/£4 for a full PSN game with multiplayer and trophies.
Tuffcub
Flying Hamster, Space Shooter for $2 and Floating Cloud God are my picks, minis are great for keeping SEUs alive on PlayStation. Now.. can we have a port of R-Type?
bigbaldwolf
Fieldrunners is very good and I think it’s only £1.99. Pixeljunk monsters should be on there surely.

Monsters isn’t a minis.
bigbaldwolf
Oh yeah. Ignore me :/

Woo Vibes got featured! Such an under rated game! There really are some awesome minis, wish they got more recognition in general and on the Vita.

Impossible game?

Nice mini write-up, i would add BreakQuest and Space Shooter for 2 Bucks.

BreakQuest is absolute genius – loved that game, a must for any arkanoid fans

urbanix, retro cave flyer and stick man rescue are also good fun.
Origami Killer
I have a few of these minis: Velocity, Ages of Zombies and Fieldrunners. Enjoyed all three of these! I dont play minis that often but if I have a spare 10mins they are worth a go :) Also enjoy the impossible game, I must run and babel king of the blocks :)
