The multiplayer co-op Extinction mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts was leaked over the weekend and now we have an official trailer.
Activision have described the new mode thusly: “An all-new 1-4 player cooperative game mode featuring a unique blend of fast-paced survival action, FPS base defence, scavenging and class levelling.”
It looks a bit Aliens-ish, maybe a little bit Killzone-y in the landscape, certainly a bit of Pitch Black in there as well. However the biggest deviation for the franchise is not the aliens, it’s that this mode seems to have a female lead character.

I don’t like COD games but the trailer actually looks alright. It’s a shame though… the fact that there’s a female lead character leads me to believe this is a fake! I’m willing to believe aliens but a female lead role in COD is a step too far! ;) next you’ll be able to play as a dog!
