Remember a few days ago, when you could get Battlefield 4 for PS3 for £25 in one of these 12 Deals of Christmas offers, and then upgrade it to the PS4 version for an extra tenner?
Well they’re at it again, as the PlayStation Store’s latest offer teams up with Ubisoft to offer up Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on PS3 for just £19.99/€29.99, a rather healthy 2/3rds off. Not only is that the cheapest I think the game has been so far, but you can then factor in the extra 10% discount for being a PS+ member, making it £17.99, and that you can then upgrade it to PS4 for £9.99 via the Digital Upgrade Programme. (You would need to do this by 31/01/14 for AC4)
So, anyone want AC4 on PS4 for £28?

Might have to jump at this, £28 is a hard price to resist. Wonder what the chances are of it actually downloading on xmas day though, I imagine PSN access will be sporadic at best with the influx of new users.
Wish I’d have gone for BF4 as well now…damn it. Would have had both for £65.

Damn, CDKeys have sold out of discounted PSN cards, it would have made this AC4 bargain even cheaper. But cant argue with £28.

£28 for two versions of AC4 is just too good a deal to turn down for me, especially as I was going to pick it up for the PS4 in January anyway.
Additionally Ubisoft have announced that this weekend (Dec 20-22) will be a double XP event, so I’ll be hitting the MP hard over the next few days to take advantage of that!!

If anyone prefers the disc, our local Game had the PS3 version for £22.49 today, so that would be £32.49 once you’ve upgraded to PS4, with the added bonus that you have a disc to trade once you’ve finished with it.
