It’s almost back to business as usual at TSA, but I’m feeling generous and decided not to wake Gazza up to pull together this week’s round-up. You’re stuck with me doing it instead, so buckle up for a whirlwind tour of the end of one year and the start of another.
We start by stepping back in time to before Christmas, even. The Defiance Collector’s Edition giveaway ended in time for us to announce the two winners on Christmas Eve, as we sprang a lovely little surprise for arrybags and X-Pensive Trash.
Which reminds me…
There’s a few little meets to sink your teeth into next week, as the regular Gran Turismo 6 run around will be hosted by Manorhowze and will start at 7PM on Monday. GTOWN then takes up the reigns, to host a Battlefield 4 PS4 meet on Tuesday night, at 8PM. It should be a blast, and he says he’ll be streaming the gameplay for those who can’t take part. If he gets well soon, after sustaining a leg injury on New Year’s Eve, that is!
GTOWN‘s also kicking off a new Minecraft project on PS3, to reproduce TSA Towers. This coming week hosting a session on both Wednesday and Sunday, both at 8PM.
Or, if none of that takes your fancy, then you should set up your own meet or hop into the forums to get a mob together.
The end of 2013 saw us hand the site over to wholesale worship and sacrifice in the honour of the List Gods. While we wandered through a whole host of games you should be keeping an eye on in 2014, via the Ones To Watch In 2014 feature, we also took a look back at all of last year’s games to compile our Game Of The Year 2013 awards, culminating in our overall GOTY 2013. We also got you in on the action, opening up voting for the Community Game Of The Year 2013.
We turned our retrospective gaze to the manner in which events unfolded over the course of the year, with the Review Of The Year 2013. While we did talk about the weather a fair bit, which a lot of you took perverse pleasure in, I’m sure there’s another faction who were annoyed that we didn’t give it a score out of 10.
I was a little sneaky in the run up to Christmas, managing to get in a pair of reviews before the server lid was slammed shut, with the lovely Indie game Teslagrad the final game review of 2013, preceded by a few days by my look at the Turtle Beach PX4 headset. Jim’s then kicked things off at the start of 2014, by reviewing the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV, and also weighed in on the new Heavy Duty mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Of course, most of the regular features didn’t show up over the last fortnight while the end of year content was running. We took a few moments to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, but it’s Greg’s What We Played #137 showing up that shows we’re getting back to our regular content.

There’s been a few new threads popping up in the forums, along a nice range of topics:
- Ron_Mcphatty gets a new Cheap Games & Deals thread going, for the new forums.
- Taylor Made got a response from TSBonyman for a trick with resetting the PS4, should it crash.
- McProley popped back with some of his music, which has now appeared on radio!
- Aerobes wants to know what you got for Christmas.
- GTOWN and TonyCawley are both eager to spread our unique form of TSA love, be it via football or gun barrel, and get most TSA Clans up and running. Who’s with us?
That’s your lot for this week. I’ll be back tomorrow with the Chronicle, before handing over to Gazza to deliver you next week’s round-up.

GTOWN is currently in hospital, with a broken ankle and a compound fracture to his fibula. So i dont know if he will be home, he is awaiting his operation, to do the meets listed.

Was just going to report on this. Operation was a success which is great news. That’ll teach him to walk off curbs, eh?
Bigchrissyc is spot on, though, Tef. Kitch (GTOWN) probably won’t be out for a good few days. Saying that, his recovery might have a lot of game time available seeing as he can’t walk! :-)
Kitch
Im back bitches. Once I’m back into a routine I’ll sort out the meets.
who’s up for a bit of GTA5 clan action?
