Pre-orders for PlayStation 4 exclusive InFamous Second Son are now higher than those of The Last of Us at the same point before launch.
That’s quite a remarkable achievement when you consider there were around 80 million PS3s at the time but only around 6 million PlayStation 4s in the world.
“We can already see it benefitting from the goodwill and of buzz surrounding the PlayStation 4 and expect Second Son to be the biggest game in the Infamous series to date,” said SCE UK product manager, Josh Walker.
As for the rumoured additional powers, Suck Punch co-founder, Chris Zimmerman, has said that the title contains “three games, four games, five games worth of powers.”

I will be shocked (and very pleased) if this turns out to be half as good as The Last of Us,
The previous games have conditioned me to expect a somewhat fun but shallow game. And I detest the way the voicework comes across in the demos, delivered without any context to what the characters are doing on screen. Still, it looks very pretty and will hopefully be the game which finally fills the potential of inFamous.

Yeah, I’ll probably get it on disc then trade it about a week later when I’m done with the pretty stuff.
No chance of me platinuming (is that even a word?) Killzone as I almost died of boredom about 20mins in when I had to start jumping around on cliffs and platforms and falling to my death every time. That was the end of that.
I reckon I’ll probably be about rank 5674 on BF4 by the time another game catches my interest at this rate as all the games I am waiting for haven’t yet got release dates lol. (The Order, The Division, Driveclub etc).
