“We know you want news about DRIVECLUB.” starts the post over on the official Facebook page. That’s true, we do, and have for some time now, with Evolution Studios and Sony both saying that we’d find out news “soon”. But how soon is soon?
Well, according to the post, it’s within the coming weeks, which means the weeks in the run up to E3, and it’s likely that Driveclub (we’re not shouting the title, no matter how much the developers want us to) will have an appearance there, as they re-reveal the racer they’re “immensely proud of”.
Your comments, tweets and emails are a huge source of motivation for the team and you keep us fired up and working hard to achieve our ambitions for the game.
Expect an official release date, full game details and new videos in the weeks to come.
So, it’s likely we’ll get more details over the coming weeks, as Sony really start their marketing push, with either a surprise summer release date before Sony’s E3 press conference, or just a reveal for a later date at the press conference. We hope, as ever, that it’s sooner rather than later, but we can definitely see why the game was delayed from last November – it’s all about quality, and making the best product possible.

E3 is in the coming weeks, so no doubt we’ll see something the week before like all Sony’s reveals etc.

Project Cars has looked really good right from the start, it should be one of the best racing sims around. Like Drive Club it seems like we’ve been waiting ages for it.

How long have they said there will be more news soon? At least since February. This annoys me. Soon really is abused in the gaming business, but regarding Driveclub, they’ve really went to town with it.
