Two New Assassin’s Creed: Unity Trailers Sow The Seeds For Revolution

Ubisoft has released two new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity , one that shows hints of gameplay, and one that gives a brief lesson about the French Revolution. The first trailer has main character Arno Dorian, a French-Austrian with a rather distinctive English accent, speak about the injustices the common people face thanks to a decadent aristocracy. This speech is accompanied by Arno fighting guards, jumping from buildings, and surveying the land around him.

This trailer then gives us an insight into the story of Unity with Paris coming under the control of a shadowy group, likely the Templars, who oppress the people, just like the aristocrats before them. The question is asked of who will stop this group that has such a tight control over those in charge, before panning out to reveal Arno’s Assassin’s hood. It’s all rather good.

Assassin’s Creed Unity releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28th.

  1. It does look rather pretty.

Still upset that I will have to buy this and “comet” but as long as it paves the way of a new ac2 style (was my fav one) then I’m happy

    • Don’t you think it’s a bit odd that we haven’t heard about the other AC title? I wonder if it could launch early 2015?

  2. Happy Bastille Day!

  3. Sorry. Did I understand that right? One of the pre-order bonuses is “Spin to Win”? An out of game bonus where you /might/ win prizes?

    • i think that is only available to US customers.

  4. Can’t wait, have pre-ordered my copy from Ubisoft.
