Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor which focuses on the Wraith, who turns out to be Celebrimbor the Second Age’s greatest Elven smith. His spirit gives power to Talion, the protagonist of the game, which in turn allows the manipulation of the Orcs’ fears and weaknesses, as well as working out how to avoid their strengths. The trailer above shows some of the ways that can be used for the advantage.
One of my favourite moments is when one orc’s weakness is fear of ghuls. which Talion manages to bring to the battlefield making the Orc leader run away. Other manipulations will allow Talion and Celebrimor to have the enemies turn against each other, so on occasion you can just watch the carnage unfold. Recently the Shadow Of Mordor release date moved forward to October 3rd in Europe, and September 30th in North America.

There’s so much else to play, but this is steadily climbing up the “to-buy” list.

With each trailer comes even more hope that this is going to turn out to be great fun. I can’t quite believe it, in a way, but it really does look like it’s shaping up to be a good ‘un.
