Capcom has announced that Resident Evil:Â Revelations 2 will release in four episodes, one each week. However if you go through buying the individual episodes, priced at $5.99, you will be missing out on some content. You can download the Complete Season pass for $24.99 which will give additional content for players. Meanwhile the $39.99 disc copy will have even more gameplay content than the Complete Season. UK and European prices weren’t included in the press release.
We learnt a couple of days ago that Claire Redfield will be returning for Revelations 2, though Chris & Jill will not be appearing this time around. In addition to the episodes there will be other gameplay options, though Capcom are holding those details back until a later date. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

So why would anyone buy the digital version at all when the disc will have the full content anyway? Just another way to rip off the consumer.

Liking this idea. Really enjoyed it when Siren Blood Curse did this and I always felt Alan Wake would have benefited from the same approach.
Personally I’ll be going digital, which sounds like it will save me some cash and get me early access. Perfect :)
