The Order: 1886’s New Trailer Shows High-Flying Cinematics

From what I played of The Order: 1886 – and bear in mind this was a fair few months ago – it wasn’t too great. It might have improved since then, and this trailer seemed a bit more promising, but the cinematics felt much more forced than any of Naughty Dog’s offerings in The Last of Us or Uncharted, or even previous Santa Monica games such as God of War.

The trailer starts out with a heist on a zeppelin – a great sign of an alternate timeline at play – and shows the team go on to commandeer the ship, before going on to even more cinematic scenes.

The Order: 1886 will release exclusively on PS4 next February.

  1. I’m looking forward to this, but what a rubbish trailer. It actually made me a little less interested…

  2. That is NOT the way to do a teaser trailer. I desperately want this game to be good but the cinematic cliche heavy trailers are doing it no favours in my eyes.

  3. Are we all watching the same video?

This game looks fresh to death and exactly what we need. I’ve had this pre ordered for ages and cannot wait to play it.
