The F1 2015 Season draws to a close this weekend, and although the Drivers and Constructors titles are wrapped up, there’s still bragging rights and more up for grabs. Meanwhile in the world of gaming, there’s been quite a few amazing deals floating around thanks to Black Friday. Let me know if you got any bargains in the comments below, once you’ve read this week’s Community Round-Up!
Looking at the Meets, chances are that Monday will see the usual Project CARS meet, with the odd Rocket League or GTA V Meet thrown in elsewhere.
If you’d rather play something else, you can add your own Meet to the list, provided you have more than 250 TSA Points.
As 2015 draws to a close, things on the review front are starting to look a tad quieter. We only had four reviews for you this week, and Phineas & Ferb: Day Of Doofensmirtz was our high scorer. In his 8/10 review, Aran described the game as a “fun action-platformer for the Vita that never feels stale”. This was closely followed by Stefan with Hard West on 7/10, a game that blends an occult western setting with the turn-based tactical genre.
Also on a 7/10 was Typoman for the Wii U, a short but sweet game involving word puzzles and platforming which Dave enjoyed. Lastly, Stefan brought us the latest episode of Minecraft Story Mode from Telltale which indicates the halfway mark for the season.
Meanwhile, Aran looked at The Crew’s upcoming expansion, Wild Run which sounds like this is what the game should have been like when it was first released, as Stefan looked at The Old Hunters, which offers new content to Bloodborne owners.
The first preview this week was for the hotly anticipated Overwatch. Jim concluded that Blizzard could be onto a winner here, calling it a ‘superhero shooter’, and he also had a look at Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade for iOS and Android.
Elsewhere, Tuffcub must have spent a lot of time this week scouring wikipedia and other such sources, as he compiled a big list of video game films (including parts 2 and 3) that are currently in the works. This week also saw the launch of a new feature, Challenge Accepted where you can watch Dave play Fallout as Forrest Gump would.
PS2 Emulation featured in this week’s Open Forum, and it also got a mention in last weekends Chronicle alongside EA’s thoughts on microtransactions and a lesson in trolling Xbox owners.
Coming to the end now, Tuffcub joined the gang for Episode 202 of the Podcast, while What We Played #231 featured Fallout, Battlefront and The Crew.

Time to check on the ol’ Forums:
- I ask what’s on your Christmas list
- And the videos thread as been super busy this week, with clips coming from games such as Spiderman, Elder Scrolls Online, AC Syndicate and Dead or Alive 5!
Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll be back next week!

I decided to take the plunge and buy WRC5 from the PSN store as it was only £7, well that’s all it cost me as I had a free £20 voucher for the store.
