Jack The Ripper Introduced In Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate DLC Trailer

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, more specifically its DLC that focuses on Jack The Ripper. The story of the infamous serial killer is set 20 years after the events of the main game, with Evie Frye taking up the mantle to stop the murders. Since Jack’s identity remains unknown Ubisoft have created their own fictional spin on the character.

The Jack The Ripper DLC will also introduce the fear system, where players will be able to scare off any enemies and also friendly fire to get advantages in fights. The Jack The Ripper DLC will go live on December 15th.

  1. Not sure if/how they can make this stand out from the main game to even warrant a purchase. Sure it’s Jack the Ripper but I can’t see it being radically different to the murder mysteries from AC Unity. It’s still going to be the same AC gameplay as always. It’s still going to have the same mission structure. Why bother? If it was part of the main game (as it should have been) I would have completed them but I’m not the slightest bit interested. Not enough to pay extra.

  2. Jack the ripppzzzzzz *yawn*

    • I would probably go one further these days & state Assassins Cree… zzzzzzzzz.

Yearly releases (although they don’t even seem that far apart!) really killed this franchise for me.

      • I haven’t played last years yet.

    • There nothing more exciting then after hard day getting my Xmas stuff together (presents etc) put in the game download the DLC & having “ripping” good yarn nice refreshing change instead of cutting open a new one with kratos, blowing shit up & people in MUTIPLAYER in COD & having sex in 3rd player view in GTA-5

Or mole some cartoon lolis but try to stop Jack ripping into women.

It makes a nice change the magic of video-games. :)
