Formula 1 heads to Silverstone this weekend, after having a little shindig in London earlier this week. I was gutted that I wasn’t able to make it, but did anyone here get the chance to go?
There’s plenty of sporting events this weekend, with the finals from Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix, with qualifying kicking off right now, but perhaps you’re looking to get some gaming in? Switch owners should be sure to get stuck into the first Splatfest for Splatoon 2 this evening, which will be the last real demo for the game.

This Week’s Features
Starting with the previews, Stefan really enjoyed his hands on session with Splatoon 2. At its core the game hasn’t changed much, but the gameplay is more refined, the levels are longer, and there’s a few other improvements as you’ll find out in the video below.
He also looked at Dauntless, an MMO that he described as perfect for Monster Hunter fans thanks to its monster hunting gameplay, while fans of Destiny, The Division and so on will enjoy the four player co-op.
If you ever wondered what you might get if you mix Tron, Rollerball, Rocket League and Speedball 2, you’ll get something pretty close to Laser League. It’s from Roll7, makers of OlliOlli and Not A Hero, and it’s shaping up to be a really fun game.
From the features, Steve shared his thoughts on Castlevania which is available on Netflix, while guest writer Adrian Burrows humorously examines how accurate Far Cry Primal was historically.
Meanwhile, this week Jim looked at how well the Assassin’s Creed The Official Collection is doing, and also asked whether Cyanide’s Game Of Thrones game was really that bad – Peter gave it a 3/10 in his review 5 years ago!
Finally, there’s What We Played, featuring Farpoint, Final Fantasy XII and, um, muscle bears…

Oh well, I’ll get to play it soon enough in the full game.
