Disintegration was first announced at E3 2019 but got a full reveal at gamescom a couple of months later. In the campaign players follow the story of Romer Shoal, though there are other playable characters, a resistance fighter who is armed with his gravcycles as he fights against an enemy faction called Rayonne. Humanity are in robotic shells now with the Rayonne wanting to obliterate all traces of their human past while Romer and his fellow resistance fighters want to keep their human parts intact. The gameplay will feature Romer giving commands to his forces in the midst of battle while fighting himself. This will also feature in the PvP where players will be able to give each other commands across a number of different modes.
