Hood: Outlaws & Legends Season 1 is on the horizon. Ahead of its launch on September 1st, developer Sumo Digital have shared some details on the game’s new hero, battle pass, and more.
Headlining Season 1: Samhain is a new Outlaw, Eidaa. This exotic huntress will be available to all Hood player for free from next month, introducing a new unique playstyle.
Outlaws & Legends will also be adding a battle pass. This brings a bonus layer of progression to the multiplayer title beyond levelling up your characters. The battle pass comes stuffed with loads of rewards to unlock though it won’t be completely free and will seemingly offer premium access to those who pay. Sumo Digital mention that certain tiers will be free, however, so regular players won’t walk away empty-handed.
It’s no coincidence that Season 1: Samhain is bringing plenty of new outfits and cosmetics to the game. You’ll have more ways than ever to dress up Robin, John, Marianna, Tooke, and now, Eidaa.
The best class to pick in Hood: Outlaws & Legends
Players can also expect some new PvE content. The developers recently added a PvE Heist mode, allowing squads to loot precious treasure without the threat of running into hostile players. There will be new maps for this mode, Sumo have confirmed.
Oh, and one more thing:
Another key update that we are happy to introduce is a game-changing rework to the winch system, improving and upping the intensity of each match’s critical final phase. This new system will allow both teams to winch for the treasure chest, leading to a fairer, more balanced experience in which every step of the heist counts!
In our review of Hood: Outlaws & Legends we scored the ambitious multiplayer title a fair 6/10. While it has some interesting ideas, there’s something a little off with the execution, that base game lacking enough modes and content to keep us coming back. Hopefully Season 1 will help remedy this.
