It’s been a dismal week in video games, and a sticky one in the UK. Thankfully that football match is later at night, so we get some respite from the sun’s baleful eye, but I’m more likely to be found starfishing than doing anything productive this weekend.

Games in Review & Featured Articles
We could think back on fond memories of 2013 and the promise of the PS4 generation with the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced this week. Is it as good as remember, and how big of an upgrade has Ubisoft given the remake?
- Demon Lord: Just a Block – PC – 9/10
- Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 8/10
- 33 Immortals – XSX|S, PC – 7/10
- Bellwright – PS5, XSX|S, PC – 6/10
Dom also reviewed the Edifier MR5 Speakers. for if you want a major upgrade to your gaming audio (and other kinds of audio too!).
Turning to the previews, I shared why The Blood of Dawnwalker is good enough to make you lose sleep (and love it) when it launches in September, and Dom had a preview of the giant war cannon simulator Iron Nest.
I also opined that we need much, much better laws for customers in the coming all-digital gaming future, and we wrap up for the week with What We Played featuring Iron Next, Black Flag Resynced and Dawn of War.
