So, if you’ve ventured into Home over the weekend after all the emails went out, you’d have no doubt spotted loads of cliquey people that have had the beta since 0.00001, dressed all the same, stood around bubble machines, doing the same stupid dance and whinging about all the “riff raff” that have entered recently. Yes, welcome to Home, get used to it.
Anyway, apparently the NDA (non disclosure agreement) that you had to agree to before entering Home has now been lifted, although we can’t verify this for ourselves yet. If this is true, we can finally spill the beans on exactly what Home is, what we think of it and how we think the community is working out in this brave new world. Oh, we already did, in the first paragraph.

So basicly home is full of people bullying the “new” ones cause they where there first? Can’t wait!

Isn’t that what always happens in betas when new people comes along? Some of “the old one” decide they are Gods gift to betas and that the new entries are the worst thing ever to happen to a beta. Isn’t elitism wonderful?

Must admit I’m one of the newbies but haven’t been ‘bullied’. I was having a nice text chat with a few people about LBP and the PS3 Eye while several others were doing random dance moves around us. Kinda odd but still, no bullying seen here.
I suppose this does raise a question about moderation though? Is there any?

Looking forward to being bullied. When TSA enters, they don’t know what they’re messing with!

LOL…ive been in home over the weekend, and all we did was go around bullying the ‘mods’ (by following them, pointing at them and writing ‘ha ha ha look at him/her) constantly! great fun! im quite enjoying this home malarky, and when theres more content it can only get better (if you play the breakout clone, you get to win new clothes, i.e a micky J costume) pretty smart ,and you get to call people ala xbox live…the gap is closing people

To anyone that really wants to get in but hasn’t I hope I can make you feel better by saying you’re not missing out on much. Home is nice and should be a good thing for the PSN but don’t feel like you’re missing out and something amazing by not being able to checkout the Beta, there isn’t much to do at the moment. Its nice to walk around for a bit but then thats about it. So don’t worry, go play a game you paid for instead!

A few of the old testers that never view the beta forums give us Home vets a bad name (I’ve only been in since September though).

I was sad enough to read the agreement the other day and it actually states that you cannot discuss anything yet, so weather that has changed between now and then and I don’t know, I think the NDA still stands.
I only read it because a friend gave me access to a spare account which he used to redeem the code so he could allow his friends to download HOME (clever I think so no one could access his account details) and I wanted to see I wasn’t breaching the agreement so that I didn’t get banned from PSN or summit – I was not

It is apparantly they are going to fix it and they should start getting sent out again tomorrow, it keeps coming on and offline from what I can gather, the problem is intermitent.

I tried it over the weekend.. It was cool, but does need more content. I liked the movie theater tho, there was a trailer for the Watchmen movie on there.. Looks cool!
Havent had a good look around yet, will prolly do that at some point. Great potential tho.
Will Sony sue me for saying that? :\

They have took HOME down to it’s very basics from what I hear whilst they are load testing the servers. I think they will gradually start to increase it again.
