In the wee small hours I (almost excitedly) reported that Home was being updated to v1.10, and with it a whole range of annoyances and bugs were being fixed.
Although Home was taken down during the maintenance schedule it appears that the update never went live as a “problem was found with the patch at the last minute” reports Home Community Manager TedTheDog (he is a real dog you know, probably a Great Dane*)
