We exclusively revealed what the list of Trophies were for PSN title Gravity Crash back on the 13th of November, but with three secret Trophies. However, now we can exclusively reveal what the secret Trophies are, and they’re pretty nicely hidden:
Outsmarted (Bronze)
Within Acceptable Parameters (Bronze)
Mega Points (Bronze)
Some really well done Trophies, I’m sure you’ll agree – there’s at least one there that would have been pretty damned tricky to figure out on your own. As an aside, remember that you’ve still got just over a day to work on your Gravity Crash level for our competition.

Nope it’s a PSN game, no platiniums in there.
But “gain a score of 1,048,576″ … wat
Is there some trick to that score?

I can only assume it’s a developer score, I’m clearly not going to come close, this game has made me think about how much harder games were when you got 3 lives and no continues, I’d barely have made the second level by now if that was the case with gravity crash.

1,048,576 is 1 Megabyte displayed in bytes.. Back in the old DOS days, I used to see that number a lot.

@Severn2j It’s also what you get from 4KB (sorta, see my comment below).

You have to beat pretty much the entire game in one sitting to get that score (and collect most of the items/destroy most of the enemies). I did it with about 10 lives left…

One tip I would give is not to destroy the refuelling crystals all the way as they regenerate over time. Gives you plenty of leeway to take your time and explore more, especially in the later, longer levels.

That’s a bit of a weird score to attain for the Mega Points trophy!! I haven’t had a chance to start playing this much yet, but I’ll get around to it soon hopefully, once I finish some of my other games!!

Not really mate, it’s the binary result of 1 million bytes.

Right you are, been a few years sine my last quantitative methods lecture. I get less headaches these days!

Was just about to reply with that. The developers are being super geeky is all.

Although it’s not a million bytes surely? Unless my binary is super rusty it’s 2 to the power of 20. One byte is 2 to the power 8, and (depending on how you use the bytes) 2 bytes is 65,536 or 512. That means that 1,048,576 is either 2 bytes and a nibble (half a byte) or 4096 bytes by my reckoning. 4096 is also a big deal being 4 KB, so that’s my assumption.

Thank you for fully explaining that Raen.

It’s just 2 to the power of 20 or 0×100000 in Hex base, nothing to do with bytes.

Hasn’t considered running it as Hex.

@FluBBa As far as the trophy is concerned it does seem to be related to bytes (or bits). 1048576 is the number of bytes in a megabyte (or bits in a megabit) which is presumably why the trophy is called Mega Points.
