This is the European boxart for Heavy Rain – which has just been revealed via Amazon. Notice the “Only On PlayStation” and SCE logos? Yeah, this one’s exclusive.
I like. It’s evocative, smart and sophisticated. I’m sure the back will be full of nudity and nazi symbols (they’ve got to sell it somehow) but I’m impressed that the final boxart has managed to get through the SCEE amplifier intact.

The US one is a bit of a mess. Too many logos and awards slapped on there.
I’m not sure if this was an unofficial monk up or what, but I liked it;

Stark, striking and the blood stain catches your eye – on the US one, the blood stain doesn’t stand out at all as it’s surrounded by awards and stuff.

Looking forward to this so so much, You have me hugely intrigued now nofi!
Having said that, The box-art was pretty much what i was expecting, Doesn’t make me any less excited though!
As a side-note, I wish a few more publishers paid more attention to their box-art (for casual buyers) as there are some real shockers on the shelves.

I did not actually think of Nofi’s post mimicking weather predictions, an obvious joke I can’t believe I missed. Heavy Rain is the summary of British weather though, but also a game with a huge amount of potential that I can not wait for.

I like it. Very subtle and intriguing in my view. Looks like a paper bird or something that has been dipped in ketchup though.

I notice that they have changed the font of the logo.
Also, the picture of the origami with blood on it doesn’t really make much sense without the boxart displaying the subtitle “The Origami Killer”.
Anyway, really looking forward to this!

The new font makes it look a lot more like a scary horror game – really changes my feel of how the game will be. I agree that they should have included the subtitle, would have looked more like a film I feel.

Really like the box art, the font reminds me a bit of the Siren font.
It’ll probably say everything about the Origami Killer on the back of the case, this is only one side of the box after all.

Well text chat and messages have nothing to do with the game, really. I thought they only stuck the PSN logo on there if the game had actual online features.

trophy support will be indicated by a logo on the back i expect and trophy support isn’t really an online feature, since you have to manually synch up your trophies anyway.

I wasn’t sure what to think of this game at first glance. I’ve read the storyline though, and it doesn’t sound too bad. Will most likely get this one!

looks cool, but pretty much what i was expecting. not that i have in issue with it or anything, but how many other console owners will be looking at ps3 games to see the exclusive to ps3 logo and feel gutted.
as i say i dont actually care, its more a thought.
