PSN Store Update: 27/10/10

So, as it was foretold in the ancient scriptures, Wednesday shall be thy update day and it will be glorious. It shall be plentiful and have something for absolutely everyone, except for you, moaning minnie.

Racing to the head of the pack this week is Criterion’s entry into the Need For Speed franchise with Hot Pursuit. The demo will only be available for a limited time so don’t hang around if you want to try your hand at the titles’s built-in bragging rights ‘social network’ Autolog, as players get the chance to sample both single and multiplayer action.

If you only check the PSN Store on update day then you’d have missed out on the Red Dead Redemption DLC, The Undead Nightmare Pack which was launched yesterday. Expanding on the single player mode it also features brand new gameplay mechanics, weapons, zombie animals, mythical creatures and even a brand new secret location. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber you can pick up the DLC with a 20% discount.
