I’ll admit I’ve not been on PlayStation Home for years. I just didn’t like it, and the place seemed to attract an odd type of crowd. I’ve been told it’s much improved though, and with the introduction of Update 1.4 this Thursday it sounds like Home is about to get even better.
Whilst the full list of changes have yet to be revealed, Sony has announced that voice chat is in, as well as the ability to create a group of up to eight people to talk in both public and personal spaces.
“The best part is that these groups will have dedicated voice and text chat channels that allow you to speak to members of your group regardless of where each of you may be located in-world… New voice and chat channels will also be made available for clubs, making communication with other members of your club much easier.”
Changes have also been made to your wardrobe, allowing you to locate and store things more easily.

I haven’t used Home in ages either. I used to go in everyday when that Xi game was going but just can’t be bothered anymore.
It was just too slow to load. I don’t see the point in taking ages to load home to set up a multiplayer game when its surely quicker & easier to do it in the game itself.

Cool, use it regularly, so will be good thing for me :)

Home could be good if there was something to do maybe mini games that you could play with friends or something like that. That hovercraft game (forget what it’s called) was a pretty good idea more stuff like that for free and people might even use it more

Sony have got a long way to go to get Home as creepy as Second Life. Come on, Sony. You can do it!
