Fresh in from Japan, as they hurtle towards the PS4 launch in their territory next month, is a Driveclub trailer which appears to be comprised of new footage, and shows an advanced game from the last time we had a look at it.
That includes human drivers, which you’ll see through a first person view as you climb into your car, as well as some neat UI work (hopefully, unless it’s just an effect for the trailer) showing speed and points, hovering just above your steering wheel, as well as a fame system.
This is the first trailer which has excited me for the game – it’s really shaping up to be a fresh, fast-paced racer to rival Forza. And it’s only actually about a minute of footage – the last thirty seconds are those robots from The PlayRoom waving at you until you break down and buy a PS4.
Maybe they’ll even get a new song for the next trailer.

They never confirmed end of February, though – there’s no second delay unless it slips to towards the end of the year.

The game, if delayed too much longer faces the dilemma of backlash from the fickle gamer to over critique every minute detail…no matter how polished the final product!
I personally think the game will be a blinder, but they really need to pull up socks, get gears engaged and release even if it is a patch or two short of Sunday best….simply for the sanity of the support team post release. :P

Looking forward to this and interested to see how cut down the PS+ version is. If the game is as good as it looks I can see myself springing for the full game.
