The PS3 demo of Crysis 2 has been the subject of much debate lately when compared to to its Xbox 360 and PC counterparts.
Well, that’s not an issue anymore as EA have pulled it from the PSN. An EA statement reads as follows:
“Thank you for your interest in the PlayStation 3 version of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo.
Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays.
We’ve identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch.”

I didn’t even get to try it why didn’t they make a single player demo of it nobody cares about the MP anyways at least i don’t

I think a lot of people cared about the mutliplayer, at least I did.

Well yeah but the MP is mostly the same in every FPS game that is why i’m more interested in the SP

I think you’ll find mulltiplayer is the reason most people buy games…to play for a long time, with others.
single player games are great, but mostly are a one time play, multiplayer actually gives value to a game (only if it’s good of course) I still play BFBC2 online from time to time so it has most certainly earned, or rather, worked off it’s £40 price tag.

Well i wasn’t sure which console to get this for but i was leaning more towards 360 anyhow (as i do with most online multiplayer games). This just confirms that’ll it be a 360 purhcase, if i bother. I both 360 demos and the online is alright, but i prefer killzone.

i downloaded the demo yesterday and didn’t have any problems with it, thought it was quite good. Was having more problems with the Dead Space 2 multiplayer than the Crysis demo.
