The PlayStation Network has been up and down for a good few hours, but it looks like it’s finally crashed properly.
Nobody knows why yet – at least, nobody outside of Sony, but gamers are being blessed with the error code 80710A06. Perhaps it’s all part of Valve’s Portal 2 ARG, and we’ve got to find GLaDOS to gain access.
Or perhaps someone accidentally knocked the plug out overnight.
Once we get an update, we’ll let you know what’s going on.

PSN’s been squiffy for about a week now. Usually needing a manual login – and suffering log off instability on booting up Fifa and ME2.

Oddly my main psn on my phat has been manual log in only for a week now but my secondary psn I use on my slim signs in no problem?

I’m guess it’s everyone pairing their Steam and PSN accounts. If COD DLC can bring down the store, then a game like this could easily bring down PSN.

same probs, no auto sign in for a few days an get randomly signed out with the 80710092 error. it would be a couple of days after i got MAG that i now can’t play at all
