Sony’s ‘Welcome Back’ Pack Now Live

Sony’s promised ‘Welcome Back’ package is now live. PS3 owners will be able to choose two PS3 games from a list of five, and PSP owners can choose two PSP games from a list of four.

For PS3 owners, go to the ‘Welcome Back’ section in the PlayStation Store, and select 2 titles from the following list:

  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty
  • Wipeout HD + Fury

For PSP owners, go to the ‘Welcome Back’ section of PlayStation Store on your PSP system and select 2 titles from the following list:

  • LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
  • ModNation Racers
  • Pursuit Force
  • Killzone Liberation

Those wanting to get their 30 days free PlayStation Plus need to go to the PlayStation Store and under the ‘Welcome Back’ section, select ‘PlayStation Plus: 30 Days Free’, and you’ll be given access. Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers won’t need to do anything, and their 60 free days will be added automatically.

PlayStation Network users will also get a large number of free virtual items in PlayStation Home, with more information on that available in the near future.

A selection of “On Us” movie rentals are currently available to PlayStation Network customers this weekend only, where Video Service is available.

  1. For the PSP, I need to chose between LBP and KZ (will get MNR). Bearing in mind I have LBP & LBP2 on PS3, I’m tempted by KZ, but there’s also all the content for LBP that you don’t get with KZ.
    And for PS3, I’m going to get Dead Nation and inFamous. Will try to get the other’s off my other account, and the US Store.

    • If it helps, I’m going to choose LBP and MNR because I plan on getting a NGP and these two will be playable, I reckon killzone liberation will probably go on sale for like £5 after the NGP is released, also Killzone is coming out on the NGP :)

      • Killzone Lib is cheaper, get Little Big Planet.
        They’re both awesome, mind you. :)

  2. mine disappeared after i try ‘get now’ in welcome back and it only shows ps+ now in welcome back… any other had that bug?

    • same here at the moment in the uk. Best to wait this one out or try late in the evening or early morning when folks in the uk have gone to bed etc.

    • Check page one of the comments for the fix on this, worked for me

  3. I haven’t been able to get anything from the UK store! Managed to get Super Stardust HD and Wipeout from my US login though ;o)

    • then when the UK store sorts it self I’ll get everything on else with mine and my wifes accounts sweet!

  5. the psp store doesn’t have the welcome back pack.
    the welcome back section is empty on media go and missing through the psp.

    dead nation is cool though.

    • I chose LBP and MNR for PSP, went to my PS3 to download them and now it says i chose MNR and …Pursuit Force? – WTF i didn’t want that! :O

  7. Yay, finally got everything downloading now. I chose Wipeout Fury and LBP even though I have the originals on disk it’ll be neat having them on hdd and I’ll probably give both another play through.
    I’m looking forward to playing Robocod too.
    Now then, anyone tried their ‘foreign’ accounts yet?.. :)

    • Just keep trying over and over I just kept bashing away and it finally gave me everything I wanted! I think PSN must be a bit of a Masochist as all I need to was keep bashing it till it came up with the goods ;o)

      • I took your advice and finally managed to load the store up. Got as far as the ‘Welcome Back Pack’ page and then kept getting the error code when it tried to load everything, I’ll try again sometime next week I think!

    • Sounds a good idea. Let it all settle down for 24 hours or so – if you can wait that long (I don’t know if I can, but I’ll try…)
