Become Your Own Architect With PlayStation Home’s Blueprint

Sony has just announced the next evolution of Home’s continuously growing feature set. Blueprint: Home will allow you to construct your own dwelling from special packs of component parts.

It looks like almost anything is possible, from the environment your house is situated in to the floors and wall coverings. I would expect the style packs to fall into the ever-popular micro-transaction model but it gives you something interesting to do and personalises your space a bit.

  1. Hmmmm, this or the Sims?

  2. Haven’t visited Home for donkeys and don’t think this will make any difference. Just don’t have the time.

  3. and we’re actually seeing it in europe?

anyway, it’s interesting, price will be a factor in how interesting though. ^_^

    • If it’s cheap and includes all options/components it could be just the thing to get me to load Home up again.
But i’m guessing it’ll be free or a few quid with a limited selection of components/graphics, more available to purchase seperately… :/

  4. It’s The Sims, but with no furniture by the looks of it.

Maybe the person who made the video hadn’t purchased anything yet so was left with just the bog standard furniture for this fresh and exciting video!

    • i would imagine any furniture you have available in home can be placed once you’ve built the house.

  5. All that space for one person…

  6. This is truly epic, this should’ve been the case with every apartment in PS Home since the start, but then again it was a beta then, is it still a beta by the way?

  7. Sony should be looking at the blueprints for Getaway 3.
