Speaking with Siliconera, BioWare’s Mike Gamble confirmed that the upcoming Wii U version of sci-fi RPG epic, Mass Effect 3, will launch with the recently-released “Extended Cut” DLC on-disc. Instead of being a day-one download, the pack will instead be “part of the game.”
Extended Cut was released as a free downloadable expansion for Mass Effect 3 last month. When the original game launched back in March, an overwhelming number of fans hit back against BioWare over the ME3’s controversial ending.
The add-on may have helped bring closure to the trilogy, though some fans still remain jaded, egged on by persistent rumours that a number of BioWare’s writing team were left in the dark when game director Casey Hudson and lead writer Mac Walters devised the ending.
In terms of additional content, nothing has been confirmed so far. However, we’d guess that the Mass Effect 3’s growing gallery of free multiplayer content may also be bolted. Though optimistic, throwing an interactive ME/ME2 comic into the mix would also be great for newcomers, similar to what BioWare did when the series debuted on PlayStation 3 last year.

I’m getting a WiiU purely out of curiosity – but it’s weird how Nintys next console is getting this gens games. I’m not going to play through this again just for new ways to play it Nintendo – trust me. I’m buying your console for NEW games with NEW ways to play and enjoy!

lol very true. I wouldn’t touch ME3 ever again anyway, disappointed me to much even wiith the ext cut.

Perhaps, but not everyone has played ME3 and might have/get a Wii U, then the option is there.
Although I would say that most developers are porting games as a cheap way to cash in without risking losing money on new IPs (or new ways to use the screen) for now.
I’ve not played ME3, and I don’t intend to start by getting it on Wii U. Some will.

You not going to buy a Wii-U for ME3 though are you?
PErsonally any multi-plat games i’ll buy on either ps3/360.
As for exclusive’s there’s just nothing what interests me, but then again I’ve never been a fan of Nintendo’s offerings. Seems to be the same IP from 80’s.
