Capcom have just announced ‘Remember Me’, a brand new action adventure game for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. But is it really brand new?
Set in Neo-Paris gamers will take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories.
After being arrested Nilin has her memory wiped and sets out to ‘rediscover her identity’.
Now if this sounds vaguely familiar it’s because the game is being developed by Dontnod and was previously called ‘Adrift’. It’s also what we thought Rain might be – look.
Remember Me was originally scheduled for a reveal at Gamescon 2011 , better late than never.

It’s like Heavy Rain, but lighter.

Drizzle.

Interesting that it used to be Sony exclusive and now Capcom have stepped in instead.
colmshan1990
It wasn’t exclusive. The article on Adrift that’s linked from the announcement states both PS3 and 360.

I remember reading somewhere it was a PS3 exclusive somewhere, must have been mis-reported.
Jambo
Ah, here we go http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2011/04/05/adrift-becomes-ps3-exclusive/ things had obviously changed from when this was written.

The game was orginally slated to be published by SCEE, then it went multiplatform last year.
colmshan1990
Ah, fair enough then.
Could be one they come to regret letting go then?
