The Unfinished Swan Out 24th October, Week Early For Plussers

Sony have announced that Giant Sparrow’s The Unfinished Swan will be released this month. PS3 owners can get the game, which is an innovative adventure in a white painted world, on the 24th of October. PlayStation Plus subscribers will get a week’s early access, though, being able to pick it up on the 17th, which is nice.

You can read our preview of the game here (with some spoilers) if you want to read more, where we related the game’s beauty with that of former PlayStation exclusive studio thatgamecompany.

The game will be priced at £9.99.

  1. I’ve tried to completely ignore everything about this game, I’m looking forward to finally picking it up.

  2. It’s going to be amazing.

I do feel that this is another game where going in with as little knowledge as possible is going to give you the best experience.

So if you’re hearing about this for the first time, but enjoyed Flower and Journey, you should avoid looking up trailers etc. and just gamble on it being amazing.

  3. Can’t wait for this and Okami, always great to play something different!

  4. October has to be the best gaming month, K1 HD, AC3, JSR, unfinished swan, dishonored ah am going be broke

    • There’s something else this month… Details at 4pm.

      • Oh great, looks like am watching taken 2 on orange Wednesday.

        Is it a good reveal?

      • Just confirmation of something. =)

      • Retro Rampage?

      • Jet set radio vita release date?

      • Nope, nope. =) 35 mins to go.

  5. Saw this at EG expo. Alas, another “art farty” game that just doesn’t appeal to me.

  6. Hopefully it’s just discounted and not completely free on PS+. I think this is one of those games that i’d like to ‘own’.

  7. Is it Move compatible? Ever since I saw the first trailer, I thought it looked well suited to Move.

  8. Can’t wait for this, looks fantastic.

  9. Very few PSN games catch my attention, but this one looks like it could be interesting

  10. Played the demo of this at EGX. Whilst it’s an interesting concept, throwing paint around got extremely boring after about 5 minutes. Hopefully the full game will entertain more but the demo was enough to put me off this completely.
