My own gaming this week is all about Borderlands 2 and Warframe again, a situation that I suspect will continue for some time to come. I keep wondering about playing other games but with my limited time available for gaming and the amount of enjoyment I’m getting from those two I just can’t see anything else getting a look in.
After noticing that some of his friends had “literally spent days playing it” Blair decided to give The Binding of Isaac a go. “At first, I thought it was a bit like Zelda but it’s not really at all, aside from the dungeon room layout and using keys/bombs. It’s actually really good and fun to play through, I’m not usually a fan of permanent death but in this case it really adds to the game.”
He also played Super Smash Bros. Brawl at the weekend “which is still one of the most fun and competitive fighting games out there”. He adds that he could, and has, played it for days on end and still absolutely loves it.
As for Stefan…

Octoda-aa-ad – he’s got a good thing going
Killzone: Shadow Fall is still consuming much of Tuffcub’s gaming time while Resogun’s challenge has finally fallen to his twitching thumbs and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag continues to provide some enjoyment. There’s even been time for some Dynasty Warriors on his PS Vita though he says: “no idea what I’m doing in that game but it’s fun!”
All Aran’s found time for is Eryi’s Action, his thoughts will appear on this very site next week. As a teaser, he says “no game has made [him] swear so much in such a short space of time”.
And lastly we arrive at Dom to find him “ploughing through Persona 4 Golden on Vita, which has to have one of the longest introductions ever as all I did for the first hour and a half was press X to cycle through speech!” He’s got about six hours in now and confidently suggests that the game has finally got going.
I’ve also completed Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron which was great, with my time spent with it increased by my son loving the bit with Grimlock (proud dad moment of the day was him learning the word Dinobots!). He’s also really enjoyed the Playroom on PS4, with the Alien Buddy DLC proving a hit as you just bash everything, along with the ‘baby robots’ that fire out of your pad.
That’s it from us this week so all that remains is to ask what you’ve been playing…

I’m not loving P4G as much as id hoped. Have given it a fair amount of playtime but it’s yet to grab me. Maybe I’m getting too old and with not enough time for RPGs
Taylor Made
Na don’t doubt your gaming lol it’s just P4G it’s not as good as you thought it was, I know so cause I thought it was going be as good as I thought it would be lol

I finished P4G yesterday and I just enjoyed the game enough. Nice story, nice combat but it does really go on and on… Maybe I am getting old as well.
Dominic Leighton
It really does go on! It looks and sounds great though which helps a bit – I’m enjoying it enough to hopefully see it through to the end.

Just Battlefield 4 MP this week again, although I’m giving up trying to play it at weekends as it seems impossible to get any kills! Must be server load/lag related because I have far fewer problems (generally) during the week…
Might have to give Killzone 4 MP another stab over the w/e instead, esp. with today’s tips article :D

Mainly Olliolli on Vita … I’ve finished all the Amateur and Professional challenges and I’m currently working my way through Rad mode (15 stages complete, 35 to go).
On PS3 it’s been more Minecraft and Motorbike.
On PS4 it’s been more Fifa and some Backgammon Blitz.

Completed Resistance3 single-player, what a brilliant game! Most enjoyable fps I’ve played for ages. Might even try to platinum it at some point. Even enjoyed a few games of the multi-player, shame the servers are closing soon.
After my beloved toffees got their arses handed to them I felt the need to kill someone, so had a few games on Battlefield 3 on Tuesday night. Forgotten how good it is (even tho I’m crap at it)
OK. Back to Skyrim now.

I enjoyed Resistance 3, although the latter “alien” levels were a bit dull.
blast71
The latter levels did get a bit ‘identikit standard fps’ but I’ll forgive that because the rest of the game had great atmospherics & story, plus the combat put most other shooters to shame imho. (granted, I’m yet to play ghosts, battlefield 4, spec ops, & shadow fall, to name but a few)

Finished the single player of AC:Black Flag. Tried a bit of AC multiplayer but I think I’ll be moving onto Battlefield 4 next.

Not much for me, a level on Lego Marvel on PS4 which glitched on me, spend 20 minutes trying to find out what I’m supposed to build, and it turns out it hadn’t spawned. Wonderful.
Other than that just grinding some GTA Online, now on level 62.
I’ve played a fair amount bit of Escape Plan of PS4 just because my son loves it.

Lego does seem pretty buggy. Had to restart level 5 today after a boss failed to spawn. Still enjoyable but its a shame these bugs slip through

Minecraft, and i could stay here and regale you all with my latest adventure but instead i think i’ll just continue playing it.. :)

Go on, tell us a story :) Binary Domain for me, which I finished last night. Good gameplay, very simple with bugger all variation but lots of fun, I’m glad it wasn’t any longer. The plot is good and, having thought about it, a genuine reflection of contemporary racism. With robots though. The scripting was awful and so, so cheesy, to the point where it became amusing!
TSBonyman
No – you don’t really need to hear the adventures of a n00b in Minecraft ;)

This week,I’ve still been playing AC Black Flag, just one more legendary ship to beat! It’s a right pain though. Also been playing Lego lotr on PS3 and minecraft, only two trophies to go,not that it matters as it’s such fun to play! :-)
Eldaveo
Played a few things this week. Ps4 hasn’t arrived yet so played a bit more Killer Instinct and made a start on TR Definitive Edition after it arrived early (Weds). Lego Marvel arrived today too so i played a bit with the Mrs today. Good game so far

Not touched the PS4 this week… Instead I got as far as I wanted to on GT6, and I picked up Angry Birds Trilogy on PS3 for a tenner so mostly been playing that, as well as trying to polish off some games that have been hovering around the 90% completion mark for some time – so far I’ve bagged the ‘R&C: A Crack In Time’ platinum (after 4 years!) and several trophies on Jak and Daxter HD; I’m hoping to plat that one over the weekend too. Probably move on to Infamous 2 then, or something a bit lighter like Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit…
I’ll admit, the new 2014 trophy leaderboard has been a slight inspiration to hunt down some of my outstanding platinums ;-)
Eldaveo
You’re in for a treat with Infamous2. From a trophy perspective, the list is very doable and one of the more enjoyable platinums I picked up :)
