Following last week’s claims of a 96% spike in sales of Xbox One thanks to Titanfall, MCV are reporting that PS4 gained an extra 106% in sales thanks to InFamous: Second Son.
As I pointed out seven days ago, we do not know what the sales of the Xbox One were the week before, and indeed the sales of the PS4 last week, so a percentage sales increase is rather useless. PS4 sales were said to have rose 74% during the Titanfall launch, so this is another 104% on top of that which is, uhm, lots.
Both consoles are suffering shortages, however Sony released some more stock in the UK which is bound to have helped. Amazon has finally got some consoles for sale including the InFamous bundle.
To summarise, lots of consoles being sold which is a good thing.

I’m 27% happier about this news than I was about the news about the XB One, but last week that figure was down 67% from the week before so I’m still at a net loss. It’s good to know that the percentages are on the up though, I’m 100% sure that’s good news.
