PSN’s 12 Deals Of Christmas: Day Two Includes Dark Souls And Lords Of The Fallen

On the second day of Christmas my PlayStation gave to me… Dark Souls the second, One Piece on Vita, and a relatively new RPG.

That’s right, the second deal of Christmas is here, PlayStation fans, and you’ll find Dark Souls II for PS3 at £15.99 (as well as the season pass for the same price), Lords of the Fallen on PS4 at £29.99, and One Piece: Unlimited World Red for PS Vita at £11.99. It’s not as great as the first deal, but should suit any RPG or anime fans.

  1. Hello lords of the fallen

    • Only £4 more for retain disc version on a certain Mahoooosive online retailer website at the mo. I’d rather physical copy for 10% more myself. But thats just me!

  2. Holding off for Dark Souls 2 on PS4.

I need First Light and GTA V (PS4) to be in these sales. That’s pretty much all I’d be interested in.

    • First Light is coming to Plus in January IIRC

      • Yep, First Light is coming to Plus in January so you might as well just wait a month :)

      • Agreed, First Light will be free for plussers. Wouldn’t expect GTA V any time soon though.

      • Looks like Kenny was left in the dark with this one. All will become brighter & clear in January.

      • Or perhaps he doesn’t have PS+ or is wanting to own an actual copy. I’m puzzled as to why no one out of four people at least considered it.

      • I don’t get why you wouldn’t have plus on PS4 is all, as that is what allows access to online gaming & general interactivity. The console must feel pretty much dead without it!

Gazza’s choice not to get it baffles me for example. Last gen it was more of a choice, but this gen it feels like a necessity.

      • At least I think it was Gazza… :S

      • I think Gazza is happy being stuck into his games for now, enjoying the visuals. To be fair to him it’s hard to understand what you’re missing on the PS4 until you actually get plus and get a feel for the more social PSN, and I totally thought the same as him before I got sucked in by one particular months free games.

      • Oh yeah, no disrespect intended of course, but I personally can’t see myself being without it. Of course, the fact that I play online quite regularly might bolster that feeling… ;)

I don’t really agree for paying for online services as a general standpoint, but the games offered on a monthly basis more than make up for that.

      • Yeah, thatsa me!
It seems pointless right now for me to pay £35 just to play GTA Online. None of the PS+ games look interesting, so there’s not much else in it. Sure, it would be nice to try playing other people’s games via Share Play to see if they’d be worth buying but that isn’t enough for me to justify it.

    • Guys? Guys, it’s fine I’ve got Plus! :-P

Thanks for the heads up, I wasn’t aware (or at least can’t remember) that First Light is coming to Plus in January.

I do like Avengers way of thinking, but I wasn’t as impressed by Second Son as I wanted to so I don’t need to own a copy outside of the service.

  3. I’d have some of that silly One Piece action, if it was the PS3 version instead. And I’d be interested in that Hyperdimension Neptunia Vita game that India and South Africa get instead.

On the plus side, it’s an improvement on Monday’s offer. And not tempting me into anything that might take me away from vital Dragonage time. (Which is any time up until around next June, I think. Every time I think I’ve found how big the game is, a whole new area appears!)

    • Did you find the giant cheese? It’s legendairy!

      • I found a shield made of cheese. Which seems somewhat impractical.

      • That sounds like a poor defense against Dragons, unless they’re lactose intolerant. But no, that’s not it.

There’s a massive cheese hidden in Thedas, rather poorly too, must be an easter-egg. I found it quite amusing when I discovered it. I don’t know if I should speak of its whereabouts as I’d consider it a mild spoiler… But it’s in a town with “major” issues.

      • Ooh will have a look for this tonight! Have the shield which made the wife and I laugh but not seen the big one!

      • How crap would a lactose intolerant dragon be?

Actually, how funny would that be??

There’s a lot of cheese in the game. But the Wedge of Destiny is the best.

There’s also rumours (as in I’ve not found it but people claim it’s real) of a certain piece of fruit on a stick as a weapon you can craft. (You can do courses on how to defend yourself against that though. I’ve seen it on TV)

  4. At least Lord of the Fallen is cheaper than on Amazon, that is a start for an offer. I am not tempted though, I have a few games in the backlog.

  5. I still think Far Cry 4 is coming to this just before Christmas.

    • Yup, it’s highly likely since FC3 did so. I think it was the last offer then.
