The News At Sixth – 22/06/18 (E3 Hardcore Rave Edition)

Friday rolls around once more to signal the end of a rather quiet week in gaming news. E3 has gone and we’re now very much in the summer lull, if you look at the release schedules  its very sparse  bar The Crew 2 in a couple of days, and then a long wait until Strange Brigade drops.

Here’s today’s news, have a good weekend!

Also Today

Sudden Strike 4: European Battlefields Edition is available now on Xbox One in Europe and export territories, and will follow in North America on 26th June.

It looks like games based on characters from British comic 2000AD are on the way. “We’ve talked to and we have agreements with a number of different people,” Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley told VG247. “We haven’t announced anything yet because it’s too early for some of them, but there may be announcements coming in the next few months. That’s very exciting, we have some really cool stuff being worked on.”

And Finally, as it’s Friday, here’s hard dance DJ Kutski playing a set of thumping video game remixes.

Silkie & Joss Ryan did a great EP a couple of years ago with Streetfighter/Final Fantasy/Mario Kart remixes, called Don’t Play Games.

Joker did a whole album of Megadrive inspired tunes too.
