It’s the first of September, and the flood of end of year game releases is about to get underway – though really, has it ever really let up this year?
What are you most looking to over the next few months? You know… that isn’t Red Dead Redemption 2. Perhaps something involving a little bit of red, blue and white?

This Week’s Features
This week’s biggest feature is obviously our look at and ranking of the best puddles in video games, latching onto the public reaction that many people had to their apparent disappearance from Marvel’s Spider-Man.
With so many reviews, the bank holiday weekend and my difficult week without internet at home, it’s been a tad quiet on the previews front, but there’s still some notable one. Just Cause 4 is so explosive and ridiculous that it makes me a bit sad, and I went hands on with Battlefield V’s new Rotterdam map.
And from one taste of “all out warfare” to another, as I played and captured a spot of FIFA 19, pitting the Lionesses against the Leuwinnen with the new ‘No Rules’ mode. It’s as brutal as it sounds.
Lastly, I spoke to Larian about how they’ve made the Definitive Edition of Divinity: Original Sin II so, well… definitive.
What We Played rounds things off with Divinity: Original Sin II, Two Point Hospital and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Your Achievements
There’s plenty of busy gaming this week, as we check in on the TSA community:
- Crazy_Del is taking a break from H1Z1, using the time to grab the platinum trophies for Darksiders and Vampyr. He’s also gone back to Mad Max to try and get a trophy to pop that’s glitched out. It’s turning him even more crazy than usual!
- tactical20 found the zombies DLC for Far Cry 5 much more fun than the Mars one.
- It was a bit of EverSpace, GTA and Wipeout for ron_mcphatty, who also dipped a toe into Destiny 2, but decided it’s not for him.
- In his latest VR adventures, MrYd met someone who does the “best Stewie Griffin impression ever” while playing Star Trek Bridge Crew, and dubbed Firewall Zero Hour “one of the best VR games so far”!
- TSBonyman was a tad underwhelmed by Destiny 2, but did find the shooting nice and snappy.
- Having eluded him for over sixty hours, blast71 thinks he’s finally on the path to unlocking the final trophy for the Alienation platinum.

What am I looking forward to the most without including RDR?
Tomb Raider, unquestionably.
Thereafter it’s a toss up between about a dozen titles.
I have no doubt it’ll be excellent but that red, white and blue game can wait until it’s on sale.
