It’s been a long, long wait for fans of Rocksteady and their Batman Arkham games, with rumour and counter rumour swirling around what the studio has been working on since 2015.
The latest rumours were that the studio’s next game would be announced at The Game Awards, and that it would be a Superman game. Sefton Hill, Game Director and co-founder of the studio, put both rumours to rest on Friday night:
Looking forward to #TheGameAwards this year! We’re still hard at work in our development bunker so don’t expect an announcement from @Rocksteadygames. When it’s ready to show, you’ll be the first to know. Spoiler: it’s not Superman ?

Does that mean it’s Harry Potter, then? Well, no. That one got debunked pretty quickly, and even Lizo Mzimba off the telly got involved.
So, the wait continues…

I just don’t believe them that it’s not Superman related. I’m guessing this is a half lie and it’s Justice League.
