Something for the Weekend – 06/07/19

The good weather has continued, but thankfully the temperatures are slightly more bearable. All of this means that it’s perfect for enjoying Wimbledon or the Cricket World Cup! You know, unless you have plenty of gaming planned?

This Week’s Features

Stefan kicked off the week with a look at Link’s Awakening, a remake with gorgeous visuals that will please almost all Legend of Zelda fans.

He also looked at Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and then spoke to the Lead Designer at Jagex about adding dinosaurs to RuneScape, and Miguel got his thoughts about some of Borderlands 3’s neat multiplayer trickery out there for us.

Elsewhere, while a lot of people are enjoying Super Mario Maker 2, there’s plenty of issues with the multiplayer, which is why Tef has put together 7 suggested fixes:

  • ron_mcphatty has been enjoying Spider-Man as he continues his ‘off-grid’ living experience, where his new house won’t have internet for another four months! Good to see he’s been using his precious moments of mobile phone signal to check in with TSA!
  • Andrewww fitted in a spot of the Bloodborne DLC, and also enjoyed Ratchet and Clank with his kids.
  • And TSBonyman is still unleashing his creative side in Dreams, making a skeleton visualiser for his audio-visual projects.
