Buzz! Update Coming

Thanks to Merlinpants for pointing us in the direction of the official forums, where Dan from Relentless has posted regarding Buzz! Quiz TV.  Apparently the first update is currently going through Sony’s QA dept, and is due out in the next week or so – the update will support Trophies, as we’ve previously said.

In this first update we’ve also added support for any buzzer to be used to answer in Sofa vs. Sofa, so a group of players in the same house can control the online game at the same time. We’ve included that for singleplayer mode too, in case you want to play co-operatively offline.

This is wonderful, so thanks go out to Relentless for adding exactly the things we were whinging about at the weekend.  Happy days.

    Cool, I’ve had the game a couple of days but still not had a chance to play it. Deffo having a go tonight! Or do I wait for the Trophies…? Nah!

    I got my copy of Buzz today and its stuck on the loading screen for the last 15 minutes…If this is Relentless’s idea of humour its lost on me…

    Good job sending me a bust game.

    Any ideas as to the cause of the problem guys? Im using the wired controllers from the previous games and my PS3 is running 2.41. Help would be appreciated.

    yup, everything really. I contacted Relentless Studios directly so i am just waiting for a response.

    Its a really bizarre error, i taught initially that is was just installing something to the HD as with most games today. But i figured after 15 minutes something wasn’t quite right…

    I don’t think there’s an install for Buzz, for what it’s worth. All your other games work fine? Might be a dodgy disk.

    Probably, still sucks though, i had bought some quiz packs and everything, i was so buzzed, if ull excuse the awful pun.

    I’ve not experienced anything like this with my copy. If your other stuff works, then it’s probably a dodgy disk as nofi suggests. Hope you get it sorted soon, because it is a great game.

    hi, i dont know if it helps, but i had the same problem too, it was only after i got my ps3 connected online…. but my internet here is afwul… so maybe its your buzz! trying to connect to the servers… i know thats what happened to me….. i just quit the game then restarted it and it worked fine… so try it without the internet connection to see what happens…
